Meet the Team

"I am a lifelong Republican, appointed by two different Republican governors to the Maricopa County Superior Court and then the Arizona Court of Appeals. I am a Rhodes Scholar with degrees from Stanford University, BYU, and the University of Virginia. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"Donald Trump continues to preach his false claim that the 2020 election was rigged. This claim was reviewed by, and rejected by, many, many courts. Few things harm our democracy more than actively working to destroy trust in the electoral process and the rule of law. That is exactly what Donald Trump does. On the other hand, Kamala Harris supports the electoral process and the rule of law. This is one of many reasons why I support Kamala Harris to be the next President of the United States."

Although I remain loyal to conservative ideals, I don’t have a reason to continue to vote a straight Republican ticket out of loyalty to the party. I heard evidence and was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that he conditioned defense aid to a needy democratic country for his own private gain when he offered Javelin missiles to Ukraine in exchange for a fictitious investigation of Joe Biden. He brings out the worst in us as a country as citizens, as civil servants, and as politicians. On the other hand, Kamala Harris has devoted her life to the law as an attorney, law maker, and VP. Her record demonstrates her respect for the rule of law. I won't see eye to eye with her on the the extent to which limited government and self determination raise all boats, but I know Kamala will protect and defend the Constitution and work in the interests of all Americans as she sees them."

Trump has changed the Republican Party beyond recognition. The party has eschewed conservatism for nationalism, populism, and demagoguery. Trump is unfit for office both because of his personal conduct and corruption, as well as his actions as a president on Jan 6th when he betrayed the Constitution and called for its suspension. This should never be rewarded with more power. It is my personal duty to protect the Constitution, truth and liberty to ensure my vote keeps Trump from ever attaining power again. That is why I am voting for Kamala Harris."
